Tasks
- Manage the order-to-supplier process from requisition to delivery.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely fulfilment from suppliers.
- Track order status and update internal teams on delivery timelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of service with suppliers.
- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve order discrepancies.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Create regular reports on backorders, delivery times, and service levels.
- Implement corrective actions with suppliers for underperformance.
- Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
- Assist in managing backorders and prioritizing urgent stock replenishments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within procurement workflows.
- Support procurement cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance improvement.
Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain.
- Familiarity with order-to-supplier processes, inventory management, and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship skills.
- Language skills: C1 English, C1 Spanish/Dutch.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience with service-level reporting and performance tracking is a plus.
